I'm pretty sure this song owes its existence to Mogwai. It starts out as a mood piece and turns into a big rock song, and between the guitar and drums is further proof that I like things that go "woosh." DJ's singing really makes this track.
lyrics
Ember burns
Your hand clasped in mine
Walking streets
And shining, brilliant lights
Darkened fields
A starless, heavy night
We shout into this world alive
I'm dumb and I'm fine
A city built reaches to the sky
We are awake and we don't wonder why
Breathing deep and lying side by side
Before we go out for a ride
I'm dumb and I'm fine
Throw you a line and you walk away
We live again to fight again
Why won't you look into my eyes
And tell me tell me no more lies
A siren sounds out in the night
You spin around just out of sight
I turn this corner and I know that I will die
